AusAID is the Australian Government Agency responsible for managing Australia’s overseas aid program. Australia has been a dedicated development partner to Indonesia for more than 50 years. Through the development assistance program, Australia and Indonesia work together to alleviate poverty and promote regional peace, stability as well as prosperity. We are inviting a dynamic and experienced professional to take part in an exciting new leadership position in our Management team for the role of:
DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE ADVISOR
You must be capable of working in a fast changing and politically exciting environment. You will play a critical leadership role in shaping and supporting AusAID’s approach to democratic governance in Indonesia. This portfolio includes elections, parliament, and the law and justice sector. The role will enhance the quality of analysis and policy in the democratic governance portfolio and provide cross-program advice. You will represent the Australian Aid Program at a senior level across government, throughout the broader donor community and with international development partners. You will from time to time be required to undertake assignments in other countries to support AusAID’s broader program of assistance in the region.
