Recruitment Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor or Master degree in linguistic, arts, literature, social studies, or other relevant field of studies.
Experience:
- Bachelor with 6 years or Master with 2 years of experience including experience in writing, translating or reviewing reports ;
- Experience in working with government agencies (central and local), civil society organizations and international organizations are an asset;
Language Requirements:
- Proficient in English language, spoken and written. Ability to write, review and edit reports;
- Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is essential
Other:
- Possess a depth understanding of the Policy and Regulatory Framework of DM and DRR, HFA, National Action Plan and National Platform as prescribed by the UN – ISDR;
- Familiar with Indonesia’s disaster management institutional systems; Familiar with Disaster Risk Reduction key actors and institutions;
- Advance proficiency in operating Microsoft office applications; Strong analytical skills;
- Experience in working with government agencies (central and local), civil society organizations and international organizations are an asset;
- Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills;
- Ability to work efficiently and independently under pressure, handle multi tasking situations with strong delivery orientation; and
- A good team player committed to enhancing and bring additional value to the work of the team as a whole.
