Salamander Energy North Sumatra Ltd (SENSL) is an oil and gas exploration company and we are part of our mother company, Salamander Energy, which is a very fast growing company focusing in Southeast-Asia with 21 licenses across Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Laos.
Salamander Energy North Sumatra Ltd (SENSL) is now inviting experienced candidates who possess relevant education background and experiences to join our company. The candidates will be posted in P. Berandan / P. Susu site, North Sumatra.
The positions required are:
1. Field Administrator (1 position)
- Assists the Operations Manager and the Area Production Superintendent in correspondence and liaison with government officials in P. Berandan P. Susu and Medan.
- Assists the Operations Manager and the Area Production Superintendent in preparing Work Program & Budget for the assigned area/s and ensures that costs and expenditures are within the approved budget.
- Assists the Operations Manager and the Area Production Superintendent in preparing plans and proposes any Human Resources related matters such as Manpower Planning, Staffing/Reshuffling, People Development for the group within the area/s of responsibility to ensure efficient long term operational success.
- Assists HR Jakarta In preparing monthly timesheet, leave requests & records socialization of HR policies and procedures, and dealing with the local Manpower Office.
- Prepares and monitors work requests for maintenance and repair of offices, company s guesthouses, office equipments and reports any maintenance problems.
- Supervises the filing management and the utilization of office equipment.
- Coordinates the usage of company cars is ensure availability of transportation to support operational needs Including administration and record fuel usage and other related cost
- Coordinates the travel arrangements as requested by the group.
- Coordinates the arrangements of company’s guests, visitors and events in P. Berandan and P. Susu.
- Keeps abreast of laws and regulations that apply to the function to maintain up-to-date compliance.
2. HSE Officer (1 position)
- Prepares safety-related SOP for all operation activities.
- Conducts socialization of government and company safety-related policies & procedures, and provides safety refresher training to Operations staff.
- Inspects Implementation of safety regulations and SOP in all aspects of operations
- Assists other sections in conducting job safety analysis & risk assessment before carrying out the work
- Conducts safety Induction sessions for new employees & visitors to P. Berandan / P. Susu
- Conducts emergency response drills regularly
- Conducts Investigations when an Incident/accident occurs
- Record said reports near-misses, incident, accident and fatalities
- Liaise with local authority, fire station and hospitals
- Keeps abreast of laws and regulations that apply to the function to maintain up-to-date compliance.
3. Operation Supervisor (1 position)
- Sets goals for the assigned area/s of responsibility, monitors progress1 and ensures that objectives are being met on time, within the approved budget and in compliance with the pertinent policy and procedures.
- Plans and proposes the Work Program & Budget for the assigned are/s and ensures that costs and expenditures are within the approved budget.
- Plans all activities related to field productions and directs & supervises operators in carrying out their duties.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Section to ensure that day-to-day operations go smoothly
- Proposes material/services requisition for operational needs.
- Prepares job safety analysis and risk assessment for any work to be done
- Supervises the implementation of safety regulations in the area of authority
- Provides timely and accurate regular and specialized reports for various purposes as required.
- Builds and maintains good relationships with departments internally as wet as externally with Consultants, Vendors, and related government bodies.
- Conducts annual performance management discussions, i.e.: setting goals, on-going coaching, performance reviews with direct report/s.
4. Process/Tank Operator (3 positions)
- Maintains accurate logs of operating condition and all other paper work on a rotating shift basis including process area and tank gauging.
- Requires basin or far operating, isolating purging and servicing of all equipment, located at ORF and P. Susu Tank farm.
- Report directly to Senior Operator at P. Susu and/or P. Berandan CCR Operators.
- Requires good two-way communication with P. Susu operation and/or P. Berandan CCL
- Encourages safe work practices and good house keeping, ensuring that these are enforced in all areas under his responsibility.
- Complete the OJT program in a timely manner as set out by the Area Operations Supervisor Expecting to be fully versed in the operations of the Permit to work system and the Salamander HSE Management System.
- The tank has a foam system that he must be familiar with and be competent to operate this facility.
- Assist the Senior Operator at P. Susu or P. Brandan CCR operators to resolve day to-day operation problems.
The candidate should fulfill the following criteria:
- Job 1: Female, maximum of 30 years old.
- Job 2, 3, 4: Male, maximum of 35 Years old.
- Job 1: Having a Diploma 3 or Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Administration or Economy. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Job 2: Having a Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Safety or Environment Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Job 3: Having a Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in the chemical Engineering. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Job 4: Having a Diploma 3, Technical Trade Certificate or equivalent experience and a 12th grade Diploma is also required.
- Job 2, 3: A minimum of 5 years of experience in related field and/or industry is required.
- Job 1: A minimum of 2 years of experience in related field and/or industry is required.
- Job 1, 2,3: The ability to communicate in English equivalent to a TOEIC of 550
- Job 4: Operating background in production operations with a minimum of 3 years in the operation and maintenance of working in a tank farm with pipeline experience.
- Job 4: Must assist with a continuous Improvement of an efficient and safe performance working in the process facilities, utilities and wellhead areas.
