General Operator

Primary Purpose of the Job:
On assigned shift operates NGL plants with designated feed streams at optimum capacities in safe and efficient manner to produce on specification products by operating the process controls at Central Control Room Panels/DCS. Commission new plants, start-up and shutdown safely and trouble shoot during upsets/trips. Facilitates maintenance activities. Liaise and coordinate with upstream feed suppliers and downstream consumers.

Education:
High School followed by a further 2 years training to OND standard or equivalent. Should have an aptitude for computerized system training.

Experience & Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in hydrocarbon industry including experience of Central Control System, Distribution Control Systems. Good spoken and written English.

Operator I

Primary Purpose of the Job:
On assigned shift carries out a variety of duties to maintain the efficient and safe running of NGL 1/2/3 and 4 process plants. Auxiliary units, storage facilities, ship loading from NGL jetty and supplies to QAPCO and QP refinery. Includes starting up and shutting down plant following set procedures, commissioning equipment, by-passing pig traps for opening and cleaning. Checking that working conditions are safe for maintenance to be carried out and carrying out various duties related to ship loading.

Education:
Completion of secondary school plus 1 year full time training in plant operations to C&G or equivalent standard.

Experience & Skills:
4 years experience in Hydrocarbon Processing Plant. Good level of spoken and fair level of written English.

Budget & Cost Control Engineer

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for all Budget and Cost Control issues relating to the Gas Processing Department of Mesaieed Facilities. Produce Cost and Commitment Reports to advise Management of availability and requirement of funding to ensure effective Cost Control and Fund management. Analyse variances from Budgets and Control Costs by signaling and forecasting potential over expenditures in a timely manner to enable decisions to be taken to minimize the cost impact. Coordinate with the various Gas Processing Department Functions and the Budget Focal Point for the preparation of the Annual Gas Processing Department Budget and Business Plan. Develop and Improve Cost Analysis Cost Reporting and the Systems and Procedures used by the Budget & Cost Control section. Responsible to verify and directs the department invoicing process in coordination with Finance Department. Supervise the Propane local customer activities.

Education:
Degree in Engineering Science or Accounting.

Experience & Skills: Minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience in all aspects of Budget & Cost Control in an Operations/Maintenance environment of the hydrocarbon industry with a major operator. Experience in Budget preparation, Cost Reporting and Analysis. High level of computer literacy, especially with MS Excel and Access. Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team environment. Able to plan, execute and complete work without supervision. Precise understanding of the budgeting process and able to produce control documents and reports accurately tailored to the company requirements. Fully capable of developing and implementing performance improvements in all aspects of cost management. Good organizational and planning skills, strong commercial orientation with a high power of analysis. Able to train and motivate junior staff to meet set competence standards. Able to work independently yet contribute fully within the team, contributing to work outside own functional specialization.

Planning Technician

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Operate SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System to input/update the Maintenance database & records and to produce a wide variety of Maintenance & Inspection schedules and reports.

Education:
Completion of Technical secondary education (12 years), followed by one year supervisory experience. On the job training in operation of the SAP CMMS

Experience & Skills:
5 years experience in the use of computerized Maintenance planning systems in jobs of a similar nature in a refinery or petrochemical plant. Ability to produce a wide variety of charts and reports utilizing standard PC software packages.
