Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health District Program Coordinators

Coffey International Development in cooperation with The Nossal Institute for Global Health and GTZ International Services is managing the AusAID funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health Program which is an initiative to assist the Indonesian government to implement the National Making Pregnancy Safer Strategies in selected provinces and districts and improving public administration in the health sector. We are seeking expression of interest for the position of District Program Coordinators
We are currently recruiting for District Program Coordinators in five districts of East Nusa Tenggara. As a District Program Coordinator your key focus will be assisting and support the implementation of AIPMNH Program by coordinating and communicating with District Partners.
You will be degree qualified in Management, Public Administration or other related field. You will have substantial experience in management and delivery of technical assistance to strengthen health sector service delivery, with at least some this in planning and budgeting process and good governance and demonstrated experience working collaboratively with government officials, specifically in the health sector.
You will have a solid knowledge and understanding of the Government of Indonesia systems and approaches; Indonesian government health policy and systems, in particular, in the maternal and neonatal health sector and excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken English
The ideal candidate will have a track record in working effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds; excellent interpersonal communication and report writing skills; be able to work as a team member of team or alone under limited supervision; be able to engage with and build relationships with government agencies and proficient in using MS Office.
You will also work to deadlines and perform under pressure; show a personal commitment to efficiency and a flexible approach as well as the ability to work according to development effectiveness policies and principles and demonstrate an understanding of the development cross-cutting themes.
Candidates with practical experience in East Nusa Tenggara will be highly regarded
