Reporting to the Manager Information Services, you will coordinate and motivate teams in the Electronics & Communications department in order to provide effective and reliable maintenance services of all radio and telecommunication systems, microwave networks, power station electronics and instrumentations and structured cabling for the company and other stakeholders.
You will coordinate administrative and service roles within the team to comply with the PNG Mining Act and Special Rules, along with established corporate and OTMI policies. You will also maximise reliability of communications plant and equipment to meet production demands, ensure all communication services (external and internal) to business facilities, workshops and warehouses are in full operational mode and provide contingency plans and emergency equipment in cases of failure of critical plant, controls, remote sites and links.
Ideally, you will have a Diploma in Electronics with specific training in maintenance of radio and telecommunication systems. You will also preferably have is years field and workshop repair and maintenance experience in the mining industry, including extensive experience in telephone PABX, mobile radio and powerhouse electronics.
