Description of Responsibilities:
The National Program Officer for Governance shall work in support of the ‘Creating Learning Communities for Children Program’ (CLCC). The position is designated as Technical Support (using UNESCO employment category NOC 1 to calculate fees), and is under the overall authority of the Director UNESCO, Jakarta Office, the Head of UNESCO’s Education Unit, Jakarta and the day-to-day management and supervision of the CLCC Program Manager.
Qualifications:
Education
An advanced university degree at Masters Level in Education Organizational Management; Basic Education Systems Development and/or Social Sciences from a reputable and recognized university.
Work Experience
A successful history of at least 5 years of relevant professional responsibility in Basic Education in Indonesia is essential. Experience is required in Project Management to develop and implement systems to enhance education outcomes, including strategic planning, advocacy, operations and personnel management. Significant experience in development work with an international organization is an advantage.
Languages
Fluency in oral and written English is required.

Strong and effective written and oral communication, Information Technology, networking and negotiating skills
